Regulated power supply The VM6093 color monitor produces high-quality picures on a nine-inch (230 mm) screen. Resolution is more than 280 lines at center. Designated primarily for CCTV, the VM6093 accepts a standard NTSC or PAL color input signal. Loop-through connectors are included with automatic termination. Front panel controls include brightness, contrast, phase, and chroma. A power switch and indicator are also located on the front panel. The VM6093 is housed in a steel cabinet. A regulated power supply maintains excellent performance during fluctuations in line voltage. The VM6093 complies with UL standard 1419 and meets the requirements for an FCC Class B computing device. COAXIAL CABLE SELECTION Using the correct coaxial cable is critical for proper system operation. The cable must meet these requirements: (1) pure copper center conductor; (2) pure copper braid shield with a minimum of 95% coverage; (3) polyethylene dielectric. If the cable is connected to a camera on a pan-and-tilt, use a multistrand center conductor. Other cable properties, such as outer jacket material, should be determined by the physical requirements of the installation. ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES Model VM6092RK and VM6092RK-1 Rack Mounting Kits, Product Codes 4965 and 4965-01: Used to mount a double or a single VM6093 monitor, respectively, in a standard EIA 19-inch (483 mm) instrument rack.
