The NETSWITCH-16 Network Switch provides advanced switching technology that boosts network performance. It is compatible with all major network operating systems. In additions to full duplex data transfer and dedicated bandwidth, the NETSWITCH-16 features non-blocking wire-speed switching that forwards data as fast as the network can deliver it. Address Learning and Aging prevent data transfer errors and Data Flow Control helps to prevent data collisions. Signal regeneration ensures data transfer integrity.
The NETSWITCH-16 is ideal for integrating with a ViconNet system. 16 10/100 ports provide dedicated bandwidth in half or full duplex modes and switched ports run up to 200 Mbps in full duplex mode.
The NETSWITCH-16 allows several installation options. Its compact size allows simple desk-top installation; the wall mount slots provide an easy way to hang it inconspicuously. If other equipment is in a rack, the switch can be rack mounted using the brackets provided. The NETSWITCH-16 includes a built-in power supply.
The NETSWITCH-16 complies with requirements for an FCC Class B device. (NETSWITCH-16 is a Linksys® product, model SR216.)
