Easy installation
The V894CSH and V894WSH are integrated housing/camera/lens systems. The V894CSH series is a corner-mounted unit; the V894WSH series is wall mounted. Both units are constructed of brushed stainless steel with a polycarbonate plastic window.
The V894CSH series is designed to fit into a corner where two walls and a ceiling meet. It may be fastened to either or both walls or to the walls and the ceiling. The V894WSH series is designed for wall mounting. Cable access is provided on one side. The camera may be rotated 360 degrees and be tilted slightly to give a higher or lower angle of view.
The housing consists of two main assemblies, the outer or front cover and the back corner or wall mount assembly. The front of the housing is secured to the back of the housing with Torx tamperproof screws. A special tool is supplied in the accessory pack for removing and replacing these screws.
Each unit is equipped with a high-resolution color camera with ExView™ technology or a day/night camera, both with an isolated power input, and an auto iris varifocal lens. The varifocal lens allows for lens adjustment capability.
The Roughneck series complies with the requirements for an FCC Class A rating.
Vicon recommends the use of uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS) to prevent voltage fluctuations that can affect operation, cause video loss and damage to the equipment.
